For producing a region of nearly uniform magnetic field or to minimize the effect of external magnetic fields such as Earth magnetic field. It consists of two solenoid electromagnets on the same axis. The solenoids consist of coils of super enameled copper wire wound on moulded bobbins of about 5 diameter and provided with 4mm binding posts for connections. A clamp is provides towards one end to hold magnetic probe (magnetic filed sensor). One magnetic flux density meter (Cat. No. 1070405). Can be used with this apparatus to determine the magnetic field intensity.
