A completely self-contained apparatus suitable for vacuum physics experiments and applications requiring evacuated space. Comprises a transparent acrylic jar and pump of unbreakable ABS body. Jar provides a robust chamber capable of with standing high gegree of vacuum without danger of implosion or shattering. Fitted with a vacuum gauge and a vacuum release valve. A manual exhaustion piston pump in the base provides quick and convenient evacuation of the jar.
Note: The exposure or contact of the apparatus to organic solvents or vapours, or to other aggressive chemicals is to be totally avoided. The apparatus is non-autoclavable.
